Fruited Tea Bread

Method

  • 1. Soak the sultanas & raisins in the tea overnight.
  • 2. Mix the flour mixed spice baking powder sugar and dates together in a bowl.
  • 3. Add the soaked fruit butter and egg and mix well.
  • 4. Pour the mixture into a greased loaf tin and bake in a preheated oven (160C) for 50-60 minutes.
