- 1. Place all the main ingredients in a medium-sized pot.
- 2. Cook for about 20 minutes on medium-low heat.
- 3.Then mix thoroughly using a blender if necessary add more hot water. Pour into soup bowls using a ladle. Garnish
- 4.Melt the butter in a small pan and add in the peppers.
- 5. When it starts bubbling pour over the soup.
- 6. Add a few drops of lemon juice to taste. To save calories garnish with fresh chives.
