You can add food to your diary by searching for a food or using the app barcode scanner.
In the App:
Use the barcode scanner:
Push the plus Add food button at the bottom of the screen
On the top right, push the barcode icon - this will open up your camera. You may need to allow access to your camera if you haven't already done so.
Align the barcode within the green box, once recognised your food will be displayed. Select your serving size and push Add to add it to your diary
Search by text:
Along the bottom of the screen push on the plus button to Add Food.
Use the search bar at the top of the screen, trying to be as descriptive as you can - for example semi-skimmed milk instead of just milk.
This will give you a list of results. Select the matching item from the list, choose the correct serving and push on Add
On the website:
Go to Daily Planner and click on Log food above your diary view.
If you can't find what you are looking for you can Create An Item on the App or Create Item on the website. Add in the product details and then click create item.
Select your serving size and then push Add to add it to your diary.
