Method

  • 1. Preheat oven to 190C.
  • 2. Mix the sugar, flour, eggs and milk to form a batter.
  • 3. Place in a non stick loaf tin and bake for approximately 30 minutes until lightly browned on top and baked through.
  • 4. Remove from oven and, when the loaf has cooled, mix the juice from the lemon with the sugar and brush over the top.
  • 5. Allow to set before cutting into slices.
